My visit to the Kentucky book fair Saturday was interesting. We didn't get there until a few minutes before closing but still met a number of very interesting people. Even for those who may not read that much, the book fair has quite a variety of offerings from Kentucky authors. My particular interest was in authors from the Bourbon/Nicholas County area so I visited with Don Dampier, a Nicholas County native who shares a mutual friend, Jock Conley. Dampier has a couple of interesting books out: Finding the fifties and Why write a book. There is a link under Nicholas County authors for more information about Dampier's books.
Dampier is show in photo discussing one of his books with book fair visitors.
